On behalf of JU American Law Program, I would like to cordially invite you to participate in the two day workshop "Law and Public Administration: When does law matter?" that will be taught by Professor Charles Szypszak from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. During the workshop the interrelationship of law and public administration and the importance of a learned appreciation for fundamental legal principles, an ability to know and comply with the law, and a capacity for contributing to legal reform will be discussed. The workshop will be held on Wednesday (18 April) and Thursday (19 April) from 3:45-5:15 pm in the room 200 in the Larisch Palais (ul. Bracka 12). The participation in the workshop will be confirmed by a certificate.

In order to enroll, please contact the OKSPO offices (room 205-206, ul. Bracka 12) until 2:00 pm on Tuesday, 17 April. You can enroll either in person or via email (okspo@uj.edu.pl<mailto:okspo@uj.edu.pl>). While enrolling, please provide the following information: (i) year of studies/gradyate, (ii) whether you are already familiar with the U.S. legal system, (iii) whether they have worked in government, and (iv) email and telephone number.
